The Importance of Safety Covers

Homeowners around the world know the importance of a safety cover for their backyard pools. Even in areas where the pool can be open year-round due to the warmer climate, these safety covers are essential and even required.

Solid safety covers protect the pool from harmful UV rays and block out all sediment and debris, while Hybrid safety covers have the best of both worlds, allowing water to drain into the pool and simultaneously block out the elements.

With automatic safety covers, there’s more technology involved. The liner itself is typically made of plated aluminum or stainless steel, hinged together to “wrap” around a spooling mechanism that can roll up and unfurl the liner.
