Andy Goodall was very professional and informative about the attic insulation and sealing project. John Goodall and his team did an excellent job. The blower door test done after the job indicated over a 30% reduction to just above the minimum level calculated. The only negative was there was a couple of miscommunications/misunderstandings. When I received the proposal by e-mail from Andy I did not realize I needed to sign and return it for the work to be scheduled. Maybe a note to the customer that this is necessary would be helpful. When Stephanie and I discussed payment options, I decided to pay by credit card. I thought it was decided that the deposit would be paid by the credit card. Somehow Stephanie believed I would send a check. When John finished the work, he asked for payment. I was at work that day and it created some confusion among all parties, since I believed it was taken care of at you office by charging my credit card on record there. The AEP rebate was more complicated due to personnel changes at Good Cents which were not communicated to Alford in a timely fashion. In fact I finally received my rebate in total on June 16, 2014 more than 6 months after the job was completed. Maybe a little better follow up on the rebate process would reflect well on your service. In conclusion, I feel I had to do more follow up than I should had to. Maybe an enhance effort to communicate the action needed by your customers would have made things smoother. Our foreman, Josh, and his coworkers, Travis and Terry did a phenomenal job on our crawlspace encapsulation. They showed up on time, worked diligently all day and cleaned up the work space each day. The crawlspace looks and smells so much better! Josh walked us through what they had done at the completion of work each day, taking photos so I didn’t have to crawl up in there. At the end of the job he assured we were comfortable with function of the sump pumps and dehumidifier and walked my husband through the crawlspace to inspect their work. They did a wonderful job and are such a nice team of workers! Thanks so much guys!!
