We resently purchased a house on a lake. It was a renovation. We have a beautiful kitchen with large windows. This is where I spend my mornings, looking out on the lake and saying my morning thanks for all the blessings God has given our family.Even with in floor heating we could not get the temperature in the kitchen above 52 degrees. Andy came in and did a thorough review. He made recommendations on where to insulate. They took care of everything in less than a dayI am pleased to say I can now sit comfortably, enjoy my view and add to my blessings Andy and Dr. Energy by Keeney Home Services.

Andy you came in last fall and insulated our kitchen and made it so much warmer. Last year we had to wear sweats and sweatshirts at breakfast. This year PJ's were plenty. You also suggested we insulate and line our crawlspace below. This is where all the water lines for the kitchen are. It was an additional $2,100. I said no but my husband said while you are here lets just do it right. Well over the past week we had a plumbing problem in the kitchen and a valve came loose. This allowed the dirty water from the kitchen (thank goodness not the bathroom) shoot out into the crawl space. It was a lovely smell. We had the valve repaired. That left us with a nice pool of LIQUID. The moral to this story is if you had not suggested to line our crawl space (and my husband not decide to do the right thing) that liquid would have soaked into the crawl space and lingered. Because you lined it we were able to take a wet vac and clean it up and I was then able to use use some clorox clearner to finish the job. At this time, I think it is important to thank people in their lives. I hope you are safe but also finding reasons to feel blessed and smile. thank you Lisa B

A+++ describes our experience in working with the Keeney Home We We We worked with the Keeney Home Services folks for a recent home energy improvement project at our home. The process from start to finish went flawlessly. Initially, inspector and sales person Andy did a thorough inspection followed by recommendations. You were willing to take this job based on faith in a guy who'd just graduated from school and starting over in a new career. All I had that day was $100 for a deposit and you were under no obligation to make an exception in my case - but you did and I'm thankful for your work on my home!During the work, my water heater unexpectedly required replacement (to qualify for the federal rebate) and Eddie not only facilitated my contact with Randy Pope of Gerrit's Plumbing, but he helped me gain the financing for the project. Eddie went above and beyond in a way that earned a customer for his employer AND for a vendor he recommended. Jarred was reliable and great. Felt very confident with him in charge. They found several things wrong with the roof. One I could fix before the insulation was installed. Another will be fixed soon. I'm so glad they pointed it out. Insulation prep was top notch... never seen better and I've seen a lot of construction work!

After praising Dr. Energy Saver & Keeney Home Services last Feb. for an excellent job done in re-insulating my 23 year old house, I now return to say that over Memorial Day Week we experienced 5 days of the extremely high temps & humidity without A/C. It took 5 days to get a new A/C unit installed. Our indoor temperature during those 5 days rose to 80 degrees with fans from the basement circulating dry air, allowing us to still sleep in our beds and not seek shelter elsewhere. I feel sure that having re-insulated our basement soffits & attic the previous Feb. contributed to our ability to stay in our house during this excessively hot & humid period of time. Again, I cant say enough about the job they did over three days to re-insulate our home.

I'm really happy with the attic insulation performed by Keeney Energy Services. My home was built in the late 1950's or early 1960's. It was sturdily built at the time but last summer when the attic humidity was at 75, I knew something had to be done.After searching the web, I found the Dr. Energy Saver website. Keeney Energy Services in the Fox River Valley contacted me right away. Once we set up an appointment, I received an email to confirm that included a picture of Tom, the salesman who would stop by to set things up. This is important to me as I am older and a single homeowner.Jan 2nd two knowledgeable insulation experts came out and started the job. They were done the next day and left no mess at all - just a little dust that was easy to wipe up. The house is so quiet now and the pantry, kitchen and bathroom are more comfortable because the soffits in those areas were insulated. The basement is more comfortable, too, as it is now climate controlled.This project was planned to fit my financial situation as I am just near/at retirement age. I hope to enlist their service once this is paid off to seal and re-insulate the basement sill. I would definitely recommend Keeney Energy Services

I was shown the before and after pictures and it was like night and day. I was having mice issues in the attic and now it is completely sealed and new insulation was blown in so there will be no more mice in my attic. I'm so glad I had it done.

They were absolutely excellent. They did everything they could to keep my house clean. My basement was actually cleaner when they left than when they came. I was most satisfied with how the installers treated the house. I have two toddlers and they did everything they could to keep the house as clean as possible. They also interacted with my toddlers so they knew what was going on. They did really well with those two things. For their exceptional service, I would like to recognize the two installers, Ed & Ben. Ben was absolutely wonderful. I chose them because I called their company regarding replacing my roof and the gentleman who came out was very professional and honest.

This definitely an improvement over what we spent this time last year. Our main concern was cost. We lived here for five years and had a few improvement projects but never really thought about doing this type of job. They contacted us and we thought it was a good idea, especially with the deal we could get. Everything was done efficiently and professionally and as they presented it to us before hand. The result was an improvement in our power bill. We like to know what will happen and how and everything they did matched how they presented to us. Jared and the installers had exceptional service. They were very friendly and didn't mind that I watch them while they worked and kept bugging them with questions.
