Burke Construction is located in Stroudsburg, PA, & services all of Northeastern Pennsylvania. They specialize in home remodeling, new construction, & light commercial construction since 2003. With the addition of our Dr. Energy Saver division in 2015, they have a dedicated team that specializes in basement and crawlspace waterproofing, insulation, & energy-efficient home improvements. Our shower install was not a big job as construction projects go but it was important to us. From the sales rep to the installers, all staff respected that this is our home. The quality of the work was impressive. We were especially impressed that the owner, Jeremy, who contacted us through out the job, gave us his number, and was very responsive. A short story; My wife insisted we needed to buy a 100+ year old house that was a wreck. We are still working on it but my biggest problem wasn’t just the honey-do-list. I have had perpetual allergies to everything my whole life. In this house it was terrible, literally! Not to get too gross about this but at times I would sneeze 5-10 times a day and you would think my nose was a hose, gross. The number of anti- histamine I needed to use was astronomical. The basement in this house was always wet, sometimes with an inch of water. The humidity level was always in the 90% area. Your people installed a SmartDrain, others call a French Drain. They also installed plastic on the walls several weeks ago. The humidity level never climbs over 60% now, even in the heaviest rain. I have not taken an anti-histamine since you finished. I have sneezed maybe once. I was worried about the foundation of the house. That is why I had your men work here. My results were not only feeling more comfortable about the house’s foundation security but now I am healthier!!! Burke's Construction recently repaired problems in our crawl space which consisted of broken beams and a damaged main beam. The work your team did to dry fit my crawl space is just short of amazing. I wanted to let you know that I was originally pleased with the Clean Space system that your company installed. However after needing to get services from 2 different companies (plumbing and professional clean-up) when I experienced flooding from what I understand was caused by problems with my sub then well pumps. One thing I did notice as they inspected the crawl space was how the other tradesmen praises and spoke so impressively about the Clean Space system. Some asked me about it and others reassured me that it really did it's job. Needless to say, as the homeowner I was heartbroken to see the damage the water caused. As those tradesmen did their work, they made suggestions that didn't sit well with me so I knew that I needed to call your crew back in to handle the problem. Crawlspace Repair- White Haven, Pa

This homeowner had done his research and he knew he wanted to encapsulate his crawlspace. He had been looking online and liked the CleanSpace System and wanted to fix it once and for all. We removed all of the nasty sagging insulation from the crawlspace, cleaned out all the debris and got it ready for CleanSpace. We then installed our 2 part vapor barrier system with drainage matting to ensure the moisture was under control. We added closed cell spray insulation to the foundation walls and of course, installed the worlds greatest dehumidifier, the SaniDry Sedona. Cape Cod Insulation- Whitehall, Pa

Cape Cod style homes have problem area's on the second floor behind the kneewall area's. These are the short walls that meet the angled celling of the 2nd floor. Behind these area's are hostile conditions. Extremely hot in the summer and terribly inefficient in the winter. It takes alot of energy to keep the upstairs comfortable all year round. We solved this problem for many homeowners, including this home in Whitehall, Pa. We air sealed and insulated the kneewall space as well as dense packed the angled ceiling with our exclusive TruSoft Cellulose insulation. Front Porch Addition

Our customers in Blakeslee, PA were looking to add a 40' by 6' covered front porch to their home. Our Project Consultant, Tom, presented many options to help them design a porch they would love for years to come. They chose to use Azek PVC Porch decking in Slate Gray and white Landmarke Vinyl Railings. The finished project looks great and the homeowners are happy.
