Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver

The old aluminum-framed windows on this mobile home were cold and drafty. By replacing them with Simonton's Verona series of vinyl windows, they are more comfortable in their home, plus they look much better!

Since Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver offers different options for insulating your crawl space, these homeowners were able to choose the option that worked best for them.  Our insulation crew applied 3 inches of closed cell spray foam to the underfloor and rim joists.

This attic in Washougal, WA was missing a lot of insulation on the attic deck, making the home below uncomfortably cold. After removing the old insulation and sealing the air leaks, our insulation team blew in TruSoft™ cellulose to the Higher R-60 level.

As metal buildings can be blazing hot in the summer, then cold and dripping condensation in the winter, closed-cell spray foam was the best solution for this Glide, OR barn.

These homeowners were unaware of the rat party that was happening in their attic. Our Energy Consultant found lots of evidence (see photo) and showed them what he found.

To help prevent the critters in the future, our crew removed all the old insulation, air sealed gaps (they can see these when they removed the old insulation; this is one reason we encourage homeowners to remove old insulation), and then blow in TruSoft™ cellulose to the R-49 level. Animals do not like to nest in the cellulose since it is treated with borate.

This Troutdale, OR homeowner was doing a lot of work on her house and chose our company to spray foam the ceiling in the attic as it is a great way to prevent air from leaking outside and leaves the attic floor open for storage.

To get their attic up to code, this owner chose our company to blow in TruSoft™ cellulose into the attic to raise the level up to the R-49 code level.

This attic in a Gresham, OR house had what we call a “mouse party.” Rodents love to live in that pink fiberglass. Our crew sucked out all the old, dirty insulation, did air sealing of the leaky areas, and blew in TruSoft™ cellulose. Since the cellulose is treated with borate, it deters critters since they do not like to live or nest in it.
