This project in Alfred Station, NY was in a manufactured home with cold floors and a 20 year old inefficient furnace. We installed 2" of closed cell spray foam to the underside of the home and reduced the air leakage by 33%! We also upgraded their furnace to a 95% efficiency unit. These customers will be more comfortable and have lower bills next winter! 

This 6.86 kW solar electric system was installed for a customer in Alfred, NY. The array consists of 28 SunPower solar modules installed as a roof-mounted array on the customer's home. As designed, this system should generate 4,742.5 kWh per year for and average of 13 kWh per day! 

In the process of installing a solar electric system for this Alfred, NY customer, technicians discovered the electrical panel was old and unsafe with a long history of fire risks!  We upgraded them to a new 200 amp panel, installed alongside their new SunPower solar system! 

This Dansville, NY customer decided to go green to reduce both his energy costs and his environmental footprint. The home was fitted with a 7.194 kW solar electric system, installed as a roof-mounted array of 22 SunPower solar modules. As designed, the system should produce 6,966.8 kWh per year, which is equivalent to carbon dioxide emissions savings of 10,591 pounds annually. We can say with confidence that this customer has achieved his goal of becoming more energy efficient and sustainable! 

This Lansing, NY customer wanted a salt-free water conditioning system. This system is equipped with a pre- and post-filter and ultraviolet light system. UV water filtration is an extremely effective method for reducing the bacteria in water.

This Geneseo, NY customer had an under insulated attic that was causing a significant amount of air leakage. In order to keep his energy costs low and his home more comfortable, the customer contacted Halco for a solution. Halco energy efficiency technicians air sealed the home and brought the attic insulation from 3" fiberglass to 18" loose blown cellulose. This home improvement will help keep the customer and his family comfortable year round!

Before and after of an electrical upgrade in Springwater, NY. We upgraded this customer's 100-amp service to a 200-amp service before installing their new ductless mini-split system!

This 4.14 kW solar electric system was installed in Avon, NY. The system was installed as a roof mounted array of 18 SunPower solar modules oriented South on the customer's barn. As designed, the system should generate 4,808 kWh per year, which is equivalent to 101% of the customer's current base load usage. The energy produced corresponds to a CO2 emissions savings of 6,250 lbs. per year! 

After receiving a free home energy audit from Halco, this Painted Post, NY customer realized there was a significant amount of air infiltration in his basement. By insulating the basement walls with 2" of spray foam, we were able to bring this lower level of the home into the building envelope and make the home more comfortable and energy efficient. Unlike fiberglass, spray foam performs well in high-moisture environments, like a basement.
