Joe came out originally to inspect our roof and sat with us to fully explain what they would do. They were our 3rd estimate and by far was the best. Explained a lot of detail about what was needed and how they would fix it. Had pictures of the different color shingles and how they look on other roofs. The original estimate was $8200, but we were told it would be more if they needed to replace the plywood. Unfortunately, it became obvious once the work got started that it needed to totally be replaced. They gave us some "free sheets" and then ended with a very fair price for the rest. Less per sheet than their competitors. Plus the original estimate had a substantial Angie's List discount. They knew we were having out of town company soon, and they made extra effort to get it done by then. They were here by 8:00 and started right in. They laid a tarp all around the house to protect any landscaping. The foreman was on site off and on throughout the day, but it was obvious their workers knew what they were doing. Used their own generator for power tools rather than use our electricity. They were a very efficient crew and the entire roof was completed in one full day. The clean up was unreal. There was so much debris that came off, but you would not have known they had been here. Had a magnetized hand mower that would pick up any nails left behind in the grass or driveway. The shingles have a very long warranty and More Core has a personal warranty that is transferable for 15 years. They will come out and make any repairs that are needed during that time. They were courteous and professional, gave you confidence in what they do. Would highly recommend.

Scheduling was quick and easy. They showed up when they were supposed to, and completed the job the same day. Our scope of work was increased due to some unforeseen conditions, however the pricing was competitive. They were extremely professional with all aspects of the work from quoting the job, addressing technical questions, and all the way through payment. While I don't anticipate having to use them again (since we got a full tear-off, 25 sheets of plywood and a new 15/30 year roof), I highly recommend them, and they will be doing my neighbor's house soon. Darren was an extreme professional, provided additional insight on other ongoing projects I have, and just overall, executed the work to my standards.

I did my homework. Interviewed + received estimates from a few companies. More Core's price was competitive. It took a long time for me to decide who to hire. I called More Core numerous times with many questions. They were extremely patient and very informative, as I said I asked a lot of questions. I visited numerous homes to check out shingle colors. I read More Core's reviews from various sites. They received a lot of high praise. I liked the way they responded to those that had an issue and felt that their explanations were valid. I got the feeling they cared about their reputation whether you hired them or not.
They started the job when they said they would. Arrived early and set up, covering my patio, outdoor areas, a/c units and inside my house under where the skylights would be removed. I was very impressed with their workers. They were very professional and hard working, no one was ever idle. They really knew what they were doing. They arrived early and stayed late. My roof was not an easy job. There are a lot of hips and angles to my roof. They did a great job ripping off old roof, installing skylights and installing new roof. It looks just beautiful.
Darren the foreman visited the site numerous times to check with the workers on their progress and to see if they needed anything and to make sure things were going well. They were. He spent time with me answering any questions I had. He really did an excellent job and handled us very well. I was so relieved once the process got going to see that I had chosen the right company. They are pros and they care about satisfying the customer.
The clean up process was quite remarkable. A previous reviewer stated that you would never have known they were there. Absolutely true. There was such an awful lot of debris. A worker was constantly putting it into the dumpster and using a magnetic device to pick up any nails. They left my property immaculate.
I don't hesitate to recommend this company. I am extremely pleased with the job they did.

Awesome! Guys came at 7:00am and worked tirelessly through to 7:00pm. Stripped old roof and installed new one in a day. Cleaned up as they went along. Roof looks great and access to the dumpster overnight to clean out garage was an added bonus! Highly recommend!!

The estimator and the scheduling people were super-terrific and worked with me for what I needed and wanted. The workers showed on time, were done ahead of schedule, and there was not one piece of debris left on the site. This included full removal of existing roof down to the deck and installation of new roof also covering rakes and soffits with new siding materials. Very pleased with the level of service and the quality of work. Joe arrived for estimate appointment as scheduled, completed detailed inspection of the work including on roof inspection and measurement and promptly supplied detailed estimate. Work was scheduled promptly and completed as scheduled. Full and proper clean up of the job site was done. No change orders were submitted. Joe returned for final inspection and reviewed the project with me. I would highly recommend More Core to others for similar work.

Although it took over a week waiting, because of the weather, it's worth the long wait. Workers were very efficient, knowledgeable, and very neat. Workers arrived early, started at 8:00 AM sharp and finished the job at 5:30 PM leaving every space around the house neatly clean.

This company stands by their product and more importantly stands by their word. They were concerned with my concerns and addressed every issue with professionalism, kindness and respect.
