Why endless pools still require maintenance

Although not requiring much maintenance compared to its competitors, endless pools still require some work to be done. Compared to the massive amounts of chlorine that are necessary to keep other models of pools from turning green, this is a breeze.

More involved maintenance, however, can and should be done by professionals. Every three to six months, again depending on how much the pool is used, the mineral cartridge filter should be replaced, and the system tested. This filter, along with the regular running current, are what keeps the need for chemicals in an endless pool so low, by using natural alternatives to clean the water.

Perhaps the best part though is that, despite these pools being small, the water doesn’t need to be changed out regularly, as you may need to do with a hot tub. An endless pool is filled with a hose, and will only need to be changed after two years. With a lifespan of up to 25 years, with regular and faithful maintenance, the endless pool is a wonderful alternative to the extensive work that goes into keeping a larger model of pool.
