How do you keep your window wells from flooding?

Any dip in your lawn can let water build up, even after the briefest rainstorm. Window wells are no exception to this. Worst of all, a window well can be a fast route for water to seep directly into your home, especially with a window there. It is extremely important to make sure that your window wells are constructed and installed correctly. If the grading is off, rainwater will be guided right to your home. If there isn’t a drain installed in the well, the water will build up and leak through your foundation. Any work that is being done must have an expert’s eye on it to ensure there is no chance of water build-up or leaks.
